At 1918 Mellwood Avenue, we find the studios of Hearst-Argyle's WLKY-TV (32). Hearst-Argyle was really big into choppers at this point; Boston's WCVB was promoting its helicopter heavily as well—although 'CVB doesn't have a helipad in quite such a visible location! (This was about a year after HTV had standardized the news graphics and presentation at all of their stations nationwide, so we were avoided sitting through another iteration of it in Louisville by pushing on to Frankfort and Lexington.)
