Mt. Washington summit

[ Up | Next ]

Mount Washington is the highest peak in the northeastern United States. (There are a few mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee which are higher, but nothing else east of the Mississippi.) The summit is at 6288 feet above sea level; the people you see on top of this pile of rocks are actually standing on the summit.
