Like most ex-band stations, WKSH is the descendant of another station, in this case also called WKSH, at 1370. If you look closely out into the field, you can see a doghouse without an associated tower; this is where one of 1370's towers was located. (WKSH operated with 500 W-U, DA-2 when it was on 1370.)
