Tribune Tower

The gothic building at far right is Tribune Tower, home since 1925 of the Chicago Tribune. WGN (720 Chicago) has been in this building on and off; after most recently spending time up with the north side WGN-TV (9 Chicago) studios, 'GN radio recently moved back into the Tribune Tower, occupying new ground-floor sidewalk studios fronting N. Michigan Ave. The NBC tower, home to WMAQ-TV (5 Chicago, DT 29), is hidden behind Tribune. Also in the general vicinity are the (original) Stone Container Building, home to WLS radio before moving down to 190 State, and the Chicago Sun-Times building, partially visible at left.
