You would never know this was supposed to be a picture of a radio tower.... This is my namesake station, WGAW (1340 Gardner), the other half of the simulcast with WCAT (700 Orange), on Green St. across from Mt. Wachusett Community College in Gardner. (Historical sidelight: MWCC once had its own mini-class-A FM, WMWC 91.7, which died several years ago (it may have even been still-born). That frequency has now been reallocated to a religious outfit which has a CP for a 91.7 just west of Gardner in Templeton. I stopped there along the way but did not take a photo of the comunications tower on which that station may some day be built.)
