Next to the rack of processing and control equipment is this Harris MW-10B transmitter, which serves as a second-level backup for WHAM. There's no automatic switchover; any event which disabled both the main and primary backup transmitter is expected to be severe enough to require manual intervention anyway. (For those who have been following our travels, this is similar to the setup at WLS.)
