Chicago, 11 October 2004

The final day of my Chicago trip dawned bright and partly cloudy. My mission for the day was to finish off as many of the non-comms as I possibly could, and continue airchecking at every top-hour. Since I had spent most of the trip in the southern and western suburbs, I started out heading north of Chicago, after a quick stop in Palatine, although the Lake Forest College proved too crowded to get a shot of WMXM (88.9 Lake Forest). I then made my way down through Evanston and Skokie to downtown Chicago itself, stopping along the way at Northwestern, Loyola, and Northeastern Illinois Universities; WONX (1590 Evanston) made an appearance but proved too difficult to photograph in the time allotted. I headed back out to O'Hare by way of community station WRTE (90.5D) and Triton College's WRRG in River Grove, before turning in the rental car and waiting for my flight back to Boston.
