WBGX (1570 Harvey) has a rather unexciting transmitter building that also looks like it may once have been a studio. Before adopting its current black-gospel format, WBGX was WBEE, and broadcast a jazz format from studios in downtown Chicago. Night operation is a relatively recent change; my 1989 M Street shows WBEE as a strict daytimer, which may account for the rather boring appearance of the towers for a fifty-year-old station.
