I had to walk a ways up the road to get this shot of all five WKKD (1580 Aurora) towers in a single frame. Both day and night patterns consist of three towers in a straight line, crossing at the center (WERV-FM 95.9) tower. Kovas has an application to move the station south and west, to Silvis, Ill., with an increase in day and night power, in a similar configuration. WKKD's current facilities are 170 W-D, 200 W-N.
