I'm not familiar with the Cetec brand of transmitters, but here seems to be an example of their work. When 1060 was first built out here, there were two of these transmitters, which were intended to be combined together to get WGTR's (as it was then) licensed power. However, that lashup was one of many things that never worked at this site, so during the long period of half-power operation, only one of the two was used. When WBMA (as it was then) was put on the air in 1994, this transmitter was retuned to operate on 890 kHz, and the other transmitter in the pair was left on 1060 so that it could operate until 890's license was granted. (For a while during proof of performance, 890 operated during the day, and 1060 was only on at night.)
