We left FM-128 and headed out to Newport Road in Hull, where WBZ's transmitter has been housed in a pseudo-Cape since 1939. In the days of yore, WBZ had a huge Westinghouse 50HG transmitter (as all good Westinghouse-owned stations did). Today the main transmitter is a Harris DX-50, with an MW-50 (not shown) standing by as backup; before the DX, the station had two identical MWs.
