Standing at the base of WTIC's day tower, looking back toward the transmitter building and the WFSB and WTIC-FM towers, one can get an impression of how far away the AM towers are from the transmitter building. The TV tower is 554 feet tall, with antennas; the FM tower is 454 feet, including the channel 24 antenna on top.
