WYNZ transmitters

WYNZ transmitters

[ Up | Prior | Next ]

In a space that probably once held a single 5-kW AM transmitter, it's now possible to fit four transmitters, plus most of the ancillary electronics to feed them. On the left-hand side, the BE FM-10S and the Continental 816B (serial number 7) are main and backup, respectively, for WYNZ; the BE was installed new at this site, and the Continental was moved from the container at the WMGX tower when Saga decided that WYNZ would move here permanently. In the middle (right of this frame) are STLs and monitoring equipment for WYNZ and WGAN.
