This Medford tower, just down the road, is the former home of WNAC-TV (7 Boston, now defunct). After Channel 7 left this facility to build a new 700-foot tower in Newton Highlands, the top of the tower was removed and the remaining structure is rented out to more cellular and two-way operators. The shorter tower doesn't seem to be nearly as popular as the Harvard tower, just a few hundred feet away.
