Also in the lobby of the CBS Radio Wilshire studios is this plaque, recognizing the people involved in the project. Note that it was erected just a few weeks before the “I word” became verboten; one wonders if they will at some point remove it to further expunge the memory of Mel. (His name does not appear on the plaque, as he had already left the company by the time this facility opened.)
