John "Killer" Carlson, retired Adjutant General of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, was the long-time sports anchor of WEEI, and the only person other than Gil Santos to have been the voice of the New England Patriots. He was also the voice of the Boston Whalers, before and for a few years after they moved to Hartford, and still voices ads for Bill Shea's Countertops of Quincy. He was interviewed by Barry Lunderville, a fellow alumnus of both the old WEEI and WHDH.
