Donna is holding up a photo of Eunice Randall, one of the first women to work professionally in radio, at 1XE/WGI in Medford. In addition to being the first woman announcer in Boston, she also had to engineer her broadcasts, making her one of the earliest female station operators. Randall was also the first female ham operator in New England.
