At 1965 S. 4th Ave., we find the studios of Fox affiliate KECY-TV (9/48 El Centro) and Telemundo KESE-LP (35 Yuma). “ABC 5” refers to the cable positioning of KECY's digital subchannel, which carries the market's ABC affiliation. (Before DTV, Scott says, Yuma would have gotten ABC—cable only—from Phoenix, and El Centro likewise from San Diego.) KECY also runs MyNetworkTV out of pattern on channel 9. The station is owned by the News-Press & Gazette Company of St. Joseph, Missouri.
