I believe this is the actual CPU of the AN/GSQ-33 guidance computer. It was built from discrete transistors in 1957, at a time when Burroughs' commercial computer line was still vacuum-tube-based. The transistors were made by Philco; the machine was designed at Burroughs' Paoli, Pennsylvania, research center.
