The De Turk Round Barn is a city-owned facility not far from downtown Santa Rosa, at the corner of Donahue and Decker Streets. It is one of the few remaining round barns in California, dating to a period in the late nineteenth century when such structures were fashionable; it was built by early Sonoma County vintner Isaac De Turk in 1891. The City of Santa Rosa rents it out for events and parties like my cousin's Friday night pre-wedding event.
