From WPMZ we head down the Seekonk River to the riverside site of WRIB (1220 Providence) on Water St. in East Providence. Its tower, seen here at high tide, is actually located in Providence proper; the city line follows the east shore of the river in this location, just north of I-195. Craig says that when the tide is out, there is only a few feet of water -- covering knee-deep mud! This tower was erected in the 1970s after a previous self-supporting tower fell.
