A mile or so south of US 44, still in Avon, we come to the cluster of towers known as "Avon Mountain" on Deercliff Road. These two towers belong to heritage I-B WTIC (1080 Hartford), which has the unusual feature of switching to night pattern at Dallas sunset, nearly two hours after local sunset here. I don't know which of the two towers is used during the day.
