Here's a wider shot of Hemphill's transmitter, operating under the experimental callsign WA2XMN. This is the same unit that we had seen at the SBE meeting in January as WB3XXE, although it had been moved to a new location in the same room. (The room it's in is mostly given over to paging and two-way operations -- the major customers of Alpine Tower these days.)

The big cylindrical shield at lower right covers the actual Phasitron tube.
