Several of the pull-offs on the lower portion of the Mount Washington Auto Road are located near culverts like this one, where a stream passes underneath the road. The company that operates the road provides tanks like this that could be used to refill a radiator (after it cools down, of course, and even then it's probably still not recommended except as a last resort).
