KALL towers

KALL towers

Our tour continues at the five-tower array of KALL (700 North Salt Lake), west of the end of 400 N in Bountiful. As a Clear Channel station, this was KWLW, and ran the “Truckin' Bozo” show overnight. Now the station is owned by David Checketts through his Sports Capital Partners—owners of the MLS franchise “Real Salt Lake”—and broadcasts Fox Sports Radio. KALL operates with 50 kW-D, 1 kW-N, DA-2, using four towers during the day and all five at night. Trivia: the KALL callsign was previously on Radio Disney outlet KWDZ (910 Salt Lake City), and moved here in 2003.
