We head downstairs to see the WNYC and WNYC-FM (93.9B New York) studios, in the company of WNYC's Director of Engineering, Jim Stagnitto. The studios are fairly cramped, and the equipment is showing signs of age; this will all be replaced when the station moves to the new studios. (I don't know which particular studio this was. Most studios are not dedicated to a particular program, but most programs use the same studio from day to day. An exception is “Studio 360”, which has its own dedicated studio.)
