Even at a quarter after four, when this photo was taken, the prime viewing area was still not completely taken, although most people had staked out their spots hours previously. The building in the far background, across the Indian River, is the Vehicle Assembly Building. Out of frame to the right, some people have taken their camp chairs out into the shallow water to get away from the crowds. The dock at right connects to another section of the park.
