Now returning back west along Plaza Rd., we pause for a portrait of WSOC-FM's backup tower, which more importantly is home to Cox's duopoly of ABC affiliate WSOC-TV (9 Charlotte, DT 34) and independent ``Action'' WAXN (64 Kannapolis, DT 50).
