This rusty flagpole was once the tower used by Springfield's top-40 leader, WTXL (1490 West Springfield), in its heyday. That station is now WACM and is programmed in Spanish for Hampden County's large Hispanic community, as is sister station WSPR (1270 Springfield); neither station uses this tower.
