We've moved on into the newsroom proper. On the left is a block of studios (more than a dozen in all), surrounding KFWB's main air studio. Some of the subsidiary studios are used for individual segments during KFWB's news programming, such as sports and traffic; those have windows looking into the main studio so the talent can make eye contact with each other. The raised area at far right gives the editor a clear view of the newsroom and through to studio 2; he shares the platform with a couple of ingest operators.
