If you've read our essay Historic Los Angeles Hilltops (and if not, why haven't you?), it should come as no surprise to see a second-tier AM station in the L.A. basin on top of a hill, surrounded by residential development. This one doesn't appear to have a name (at least not that I can discern), but these towers overlooking the Glendale Freeway belong to KRLA (870 Glendale, the former KIEV). KRLA actually has three “towers”: although it's not visibile in this photo, there is a drop wire coming from one of the guys which is used as a third radiating element in this array.
