Our hotel was on Grant Road, one of Tucson's major east-west arterials, and nearly backed up to the KTKT (990 Tucson) array. (No trouble airchecking this one at any time of the day or night—pity they didn't bother to legal.) The 1-kW night signal uses a four-tower parallelogram consisting of the two near towers at left and the two far towers at right; the 10-kW day pattern drops the leftmost tower but adds the third tower in back. (The back “row” of towers is not a straight line, but rather, a very obtuse dogleg.) These are all 70° (59 m or 193 ft) tall.
