KJLL towers

KJLL towers

Hidden in a very high-end residential neighborhood in far northeastern Tucson, we found the six-tower array of KJLL (1330 South Tucson), one of those rare stations with more power at night than during the day (2 kW-D, 5 kW-N, DA-N). The street address appears to be 5808 N. Moccasin. You might think from the callsign that there's some sort of women-oriented “Jill” positioning going on (as with KJLL-FM in California), but in fact it's actually syndie talk “Jolt” instead.
