Continuing east another two miles along Silverlake Road, we come to the current incarnation of Clear Channel's KWFM, now on the old KOPO/KOLD (1450 Tucson), at E. 28th and Cherry Ave. KTUC (1400) used to be located a short distance away on Kino Parkway at Silverlake, in what is now Quincie Douglas Park. (KTUC originally applied to move to the 1490 site at Grant and Country Club back in 1992, and then the 690 site on Los Altos two years later, but ended up diplexing with 1290 on Roger Rd., which we'll see later.)
