As I mentioned earlier, the old KDFW/WFAA tower had KXAS (channel 5) as a tenant. This building (clearly newer than the WFAA and KDFW buildings) is located between the other two at the base of the old tower. KXAS is of course no longer here, so the space was leased out to a tower-erection firm. Behind their sign you can still see the letters chiseled in the stone indicating that this was the home of WBAP-TV and -FM.
